No menu items in Access Control

Description

According to the README.txt, after installing tac_lite, you go to administer >> user management >> access control >> access control by taxonomy. However, upon installation on my setup, this menu item does not appear. User has administer_tac_lite permissions and tac_lite menu item does show up while editing users, but does not show up on the access control page. Manually added a menu item and it does work from there.

Yes I am getting the same problem. Clicking 'configure permissions' from the admin/by-module menu takes you to admin/user/access#module-tac_lite instead of admin/user/access/tac_lite. Typing in admin/user/access/tac_lite does take you to the actual tac-lite controls.

The menu that should be attached to access controls is also missing like the above poster mentioned.

I have to say though that this module is amazing overall!

Had you tried refreshing the Druapl menu cache?

The easiest way to do this is to install the devel module and activate the block that comes with this.

Slightly complex I know, but this fixed the issue for me.

Resetting the menu cache has no effect-- this menu item simply does not display.

I thought it would make sense to make the tac_lite settings tabs under admin/user/access. And at one point that worked, but it doesn't anymore and I couldn't figure out why, or how to make it work. So I moved the items from admin/user/access/tac_lite to admin/user/tac_lite.

I did not notice this bug because I use admin_menu and for reasons I don't understand the item showed up in that menu as expected.

The fix is checked into DRUPAL-5 branch.

Hello,

I'm trying to get this to work and have the same problem... no access to the tac_lite page. I tried both the 1.2 version and the DEV version, and both show a blank page at admin/user/tac_lite

I've followed the instructions in the readme (adding vocabulary, etc.), and I do see the tac_lite tab for individual users, but no go for admin/user/tac_lite

Are there any other suggestions for making that work?

Thanks.

EDIT: "Rebuild Permissions" fixed the problem for me.

I've applied the changes provided here and rebuilt my permissions, but the a link for tac_lite is not created on the admin/user page. When I navigate to admin/user/tac_lite the settings for the module appear. So it's just a matter of getting the link to show up on the page. Any thoughts? Thanks.

So should we wait to update to this new version? If so, what is the best last stable version? Thanks! :) Scott

I have the same problem, but I don't understand what the solution is. I don't understand what should be done with the file tac_lite_menu.diff nor the explanation at #4. Can anyone help me, please?

Don't do anything with the file in #4. Instead, download the 5.x-1.x-dev version and use that.

Dear Dave Cohen,

I am using version 5.x-1.2 which is the only one available now, but the problem persists.

Any idea?

Thanks
