The Quiz Description does not appear when going to the quiz. It just starts with the 1st question. No title, no description.

You can use the quiz description in views. With views you can display the description of the node above the quiz or to the side as needed.

I am not seeing the description field in views. Could you explain further?

By design the quiz description was not shown. This will not be changed for 6.x-2.0.

(Title, on the other hand, is showing.)

I will check on the quiz_views module when I get there (and when the Views 2 API stops changing), but that will likely be the preferred way for displaying the description.
