After installation of the date module it is not possible to activate the views-module (views-6.x-2.0-beta3). In case of activation, there is the error message below:

Fatal error: Class 'views_handler_argument_date' not found in /home/httpd/xxxhosts/somewhere.com/httpdocs/sites/all/modules/date-6.x-2.x-dev/date_api.views.inc on line 97

Cannot give any further information, since I don't even reach the point of application/usage. Sorry.

There's an older issue concerning views_handler_argument_date at http://drupal.org/node/250813 , so I'm going to mark this as a duplicate.
