Forward not sending message/applying changes to defaults

We're running drupal 5.x and the latest version of Forward.
The forward process goes smoothly for the sender, but the recipient recieves nothing.
I'm not sure if this is related, but changes to the default subject/body made in the admin page are not reflected on the font end.
Any ideas?

I have the same problem should i add that all the other modules that send emails works perfectly fine, only the forward module is not able one single email
