Hi,
I'm running a Drupal 6 website all around fishing pictures. A lot of people send me their pics of caught fish and I do the tuning (picture program work) and then upload the images again and write a short blog-like article with the pics inside.
Since 2004 everyone had to MAIL me the pics. I thought, as a new user of Drupal, maybe they can register on the side and upload it directly to the server. So, I'm thinking of:
- A way that a registered user can put a few images into a folder on the server
- The folder to have a maximum size (20MB not more please)
Do you have an idea about this? Would be a great to have everything on the website.
Thanks, Plipp

i believe the http://drupal.org/project/imce module has the features (including folder per user with quotas) to handle this.

IMCE
I tried IMCE and it fits my needs 100%. I managed to create an account for my "pic-distributors" that allow them to upload pics until the 20MB limit in the folder is reached. Super ! Thanks !
