Where is the search?

lelizondob - June 17, 2008 - 18:02

I've been having problems with the search in drupal.org... I get Page not found when going to http://drupal.org/search/node.... does anybody know why is this happening? It's near impossible to find the solution to a problem without the search.

Thanks

Luis

Probably the page has been deleted (because it has become obsolete or because there has been some reorganization or...)

try to google search query(s) for now, is my recommendation, based upon a previous dmembers suggestion, once before when this occured, as this has happened on at least one occasion recently! The search function should be working properly shortly is my guess, fwiiw!

Server issues

D.o has been having a number of server problems lately. One of the first things to be turned off to lower the load on the server is Search. You can use the temporary workaround of using Google with site:drupal.org added to the search box.

Try drupalsearch.org

Give http://drupalsearch.org a try. It is built on Google CSE and allows to search drupal.org with refinements.
