There is no default parent album for users, thus every second album one creates will automatically get submitted under the first album.

hope this gets fxied. I'd love to see this module at 100%

Not sure I understand the description here, but I think I've seen this with per-user albums in 6.x - album created by the first user was a "root" album, but all other per-user albums were created as children of the album the first user created.
