I too would find this very useful

A good module would be great to have it for D6

No promises, but I am working on porting this and the expiry accounts module to D6.
I need it bad for something I am working on.If anyone has any snapshot code, or anything on either of these modules, let me know.
I do not want to become the maintainer for either project, but again, I am working on a D6 port.

Me 5. Please let us know as soon as this works for D6. If I knew anything about code I would help, But alas I do not.

I'm back working with Drupal again! I'm likely to update this to D6 before D7 comes out. Maybe even before Summer! I am going through my old modules one at a time as I need them for a couple of projects. This module will need a serious code review before a conversion since D6 might do some things differently. Hopefully, this will just be a simple conversion.

I'm willing to help with the D6 port. Are there any other modules that are similar that I might be able to leverage code from?

I can help test or pitch in.

Project maintainer appears to not be involved in Drupal anymore. See #421932: CCK Taxonomy Super Select Ultra seems abandoned for similar case with another of rconstantine's modules that was marked as abandoned.
#16
This hasn't followed the proper abandoned module procedure (http://drupal.org/node/251466), we should not take any action here. Not just any issue can be converted into a webmaster request to abandon a project.
Moving back to the project.
#17
any updates?
#18
Is this module abandoned?
If no response from maintainer within 2 weeks, make the same changes I did in #15.
#19
Aren, what part of #16 you didn't understand?
#20
@igorik He's following it now, so he understands it pretty well I think.
#21
I didn't notice it, sorry.
