If you embed a flexible mini panel into a flexible panel with side bars the mini panel gets the padding for the main panel.

This is because "panel-flexible-sidebars" is always there within the div of the flexible layout.

I took a look, and the problem is different.

The problem that I am having is that because the panel-flexible-sidebars exists on all flexible panels, when you have a sidebar embedded it breaks the formatting.

Sounds like a bit of reworking is needed on the flexible layout inc file, then. Have time for a patch?

Sorry to make this active again - but I believe there is still an issue with flexible layouts if you are using simple cache for the mini panel.

It works the first time after you clear the cache, but after that the sidebar css isn't inserted into the head area so the sidebar appears below.

It looks like it is a known issue with the flexible page layout. I haven't seen a fix yet.

Sorry, but Panels for D5 will not see any further fixes, since Panels for D6 simply advanced too much and no one cares for D5.
