This new release has basically two features:
- Works with FileField 6.x-1.0-beta2, as opposed to the previous filefield_image release which is now out of date and had only worked on a previous FileField.
- ImageCache support similar to the ImageCache formatters for ImageField, only better as you can mix & match with regular files (also true for other new FileField extensions) and get a nice settings UI for configuring the ImageCache preset and display style. ImageCache support is implemented as module that is independent from filefield_image, so you can even have imagecache-transformed images on the node view even if the node edit form doesn't show the image at all.
Hope you like it! Still beta, too! Don't complain if it doesn't include your favorite feature, but rather help getting stuff ported from ImageField! And cut.
