I don't know if this has already been proposed but having the option of an external voting button people could place on their sites to vote for their node would be great.

quicksketchThis has been requested before, but I couldn't find the issue.
I think you're suggesting something like the Digg It buttons people use on their sites that point back to Digg? This wouldn't be easy to do, since Fivestar depends on jQuery. It'd probably necessitate creating an iframe on the page (this is how Digg works I believe) that is actually a page hosted by your site that contains nothing but the Fivestar widget. So it'd be possible, but I'm not sure if this would be valuable enough to include in the Fivestar module directly. It could be built as an add-on module certainly.

totaldrupal commentedIt would valuable to me. When I get to that point in my site development I'll put it out there again and see if someone wants to get paid to create it.

quicksketchMoving into "won't fix". If this feature is implemented, it'll have to be separate from the main Fivestar module.
quicksketchChanging title to make easier to find later.
