Cleaning directories

Hi,
I have setup IMCE to use a directory structure for my images like : username/year/month. The problem is that if the user opens the IMCE browser then it creates the directory. But if the user after that changes his mind and do not upload files in this created directory, or if he selects a picture from another directory, then the created directory stays there, empty.

Any way to clean the directory structure of IMCE to remove empty directories?
