I continued to translate the de.po provided with 'view' so far, see attached de.po, currently at 85%. Mostly I translated untranslated string, also did some changes to current strings (esp. 'add view' >> 'Neue Anzeige' to fit into the text area. Also fixed th bug of http://drupal.org/node/273268.

You may commit if you want or the previous translator ('hass', Alexander Hass, thanks for most of the work) may use it.

Ok, now I'm confused. You have a translation http://drupal.org/node/273268 and now another one here? WHy create a new issue?

I opened a new issue because the other issue was mainly a bug report. As long as the new de.po, provided here is not commited to cvs, the bug reported there needs to be fixed (maybe otherwise). This is a feature request. I admit it could be confusing. I would close the former issue and continue with the german translation here.

If it's too confusing I can append the newer translation to the former issue.

I append a new de.po with some updates to this comment, which applies to V6.x-2.0-rc1 (currently 87%). I suggest to commit it to cvs.

You may upate the status as you like.
