I am sorry if this had already been asked, but I could not seem to find any similar question.

It would be far more convenient if users were able to create directories from within the IMCE browser in stead of requiring the website administrator to create the folder structure. Also the possibility to delete or rename directories would come in handy because right now this requires actual FTP access.

I agree that this would be a great feature.

I had hoped to use this module to allow privileged users to maintain a repository of downloadable files without having to make them deal with FTP, but they need to be able to create new subdirectories to keep everything organized so I'm back to FTP.

I am using the IMCE Mkdir module (http://drupal.org/project/imce_mkdir) which is working pretty OK.
