I have an album of photos that range in size from >300x200 to <800x600. I had the gallery set to 640x 480 but only the larger photos will display when they are clicked on. I reduced the frame size down to 300x200, but then the "large" view of each photo stays is rather small. It would be nice to allow us to configure a "max frame size" and allow all photos to be shown in their original size up to the max size limit.

I'd also like to see a feature that will downsize a large file to a smaller one, ie. a 2mb file down to 150K.

This was a bug in Gallerix v1.2 that has been fixed in v1.3. That is, smaller pictures will still be shown. Look for a beta release tonight.

There is no easy way to implement a compression feature that leaves the same resolution but lowers the file size, especially not with GD.
