I have installed img_assist 4.6 with img_assist.module version 1.43.2.11 and properties.js version 1.11.2.1.

If my site is in English, img_assist work fine with or without tinymce.
But if I switch to french translation, I receive directly an javascript error in line 68 char 1 Object expected
http:///?q=img_assist/add&editor=tinymce&texterea=edit[body]

I don't know how to fix the 4.6 version, but there were some errors creating .pot file (which I fixed in the 4.7 version) so I suspect this is related. Please try the new Drupal 4.7 version and let me know if you still have translation issues with img_assist. Note that existing translations have not yet been updated for 4.7.
