1. files directory must exist under the site root directory. i.e. http://www.example.com/files should exist.
2. In "admin/settings/brilliant_gallery" do not set the path as files/images if 'images" directory is your gallery. Instead just set path as images, without the files/.
Then when you go to Manage Galleries, it will load up the images directory. Or if you set path as empty - i.e. specify no path - Manage Galleries will list all available folders under files.
