It's a great module, and I was wondering what your schedule was on this...
Any plans?

I'm still not sure... as of right now, I'm planning on removing it as a dependency for Ubercart... so it's usefulness will suddenly drop to 0 for me. Do you have another use case for it that I should consider?

I'm going to mark this won't fix unless someone posts up a patch to make it work. I think there are other better options for general taxonomy now w/ the Hierarchical Select module.

Hi,

This module is required to install Ubercart but I am setting a Drupal 6 e-commerce website, do you know how to do as this module is not available for D6 ?

Thanks.

As of this point, I have no plans to update this module to Drupal 6. If you look at the install docs and project page for Ubercart, you'll see that this module is no longer a requirement.

I understand this module is no longer required in technical sense.

Pity, with the dismissal of ubrowser, some very useful admin functions like "Move products", "Add product to order", list filtering in "Product overview" are all gone or degraded. Now if you start fresh with D6 you wont miss it, simply because it was never there, though I have complains about finding / filtering products in the admin environment.

Because I built quite a few shops with D5 / UC1, these shops all have to be upgraded one of these days to D6 / UC2, since support will be dropped for D5 in the near future. Clients are complaining and laughing in my face when I call it UPgrade, when in fact admin functionality is significantly DOWNgraded for them. Hard as it is to explain already the crazy short lifecycle of a stable Drupal website/shop without this drop of functionality, I'm losing credit here as supplier of these "upgraded" non-solutions.

In e.g. the "edit order" the ubrowser is replaced by a form called "products-selector", cant this be added to the product overview as a filter form? Still missing functionality like "move products" though...

Thanks,

Kees
