Is there a better 3rd parter tool other than the built in Blog module? I like the fetures of Blogger.com - especially ability to include video and post via my mobile device.

The Drupal way is to add specific features by adding modules - such as Emfield for video etc etc. Check the Downloads section for modules that offer the features you require. Think of Drupal as a big lego kit you build things out of.
