As claimed in the module, the module doesn't hide any profile fields which are overridden for visibility.
Those fields can be viewed by all the users.

It works for me when the patch at #285444: Profile privacy Fatal error on user page Drupal 6.x is applied.

What do you have the profile fields visibility set to under the administration settings?

I've committed that fix and released 1.1.2, give it a try and see if it works properly.

under the user page the overridden visibility works on my side, but under the userlist, the fields are not overridden.
how can i make this that there are the fields overridden too

Babalu, I'm not sure what you mean by "userlist". The original problem of displaying on profile pages should be corrected, please open a new issue describing your problem more completely.
