How could I integrate this with emfield for displaying the video?

Probably a separate provider file?

Has anyone done this yet?

emfield is for embedding media from external sources. it solves a different problem than op_video.

Yes, most people think of emfield as external media embedder, but I dont think it is a far fetched idea to use it for displaying videos converted by op package on the local site.
After all using emfield with oppackage could be thought of as alignment with industry standards.

emfield has kick ass cck and views integratiosn which could be leveraged by op package.
