"(All day)" appended to dates with day granularity

I have a date field which has only day-level granularity, no hours or minutes. After upgrading from RC4 to RC5, all of the values in this field are now displaying the text "(All day)" after the entered date. I suppose this might be a helpful clarification in some situations, but it certainly doesn't make sense in the context of what I'm doing. Is there an easy way to get rid of it? Currently I'm using the "-view" token to display the dates.
