I put this as a feature request, only because I couldn't figure out if it could be done. I would love to find a way to set Gallerix to use the directories that get set up when using IMCE. Like the way I have mine set so each user's directory is named "u" + their userid.

I'll mark your older issue as a duplicate of this newer issue:

#942792: The files are saved in a folder that includes the user identifier...

There are BIG problems in the way the images are handled and the idea/concept of limiting users in the amount of data that they can upload (i.e. per user quotas.)
