The people in charge of Web links thinks it is a FCKeditor issue.

Using the Web Links module I am unable to get the FCKeditor in the "edit-body" field. It shows me the field blank with the "full Html" and the "filtered html" format but not the FCKeditor.

I checked all over my admin pages but I was unable to find why. The editor works fine in my other content like "pages" "stories" etc.

The "edit-body" option is enabled in the FCKeditor and checked that the permission as admin is ok too.

Perhaps I am missing something silly. I did not see anything like it in the Web Links issues queue.

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Version: 6.x-1.3-beta2 » 6.x-1.3-rc1

I still have this problem under the new update rc1.
Any input will be appreciated.

Works for me. Tested on fresh installation: Drupal 6.4 (Garland theme, no other additional modules) + FCKeditor 6.x-1.3-rc1 + FCKeditor 2.6.3 + Web links 6.x-1.0-rc2.
Tested on FF 2 and IE 6 / Win XP+SP3.

Please try the same configuration.

Thank you very much for your input.
I have it under the same parameters as you are using. However I use FF 3 and IE 7.

Yesterday I did this:
Created a new profile in the FCKeditor called "member"
I moved an account from "administrator" to "member". I was able from there to see the editor correctly (the simplified version, the complete version, etc.).

Today I just changed the precedence for these profiles in the FCK. Therefore if I leave "administrator" under "member"; from there I can see the editor without a problem.
This is not the solution but I cannot see what else I can do.

I tried removing the "administrator" role in the FCKeditor and creating it again. I tried adding the path instead/and the edit-body...

At this moment, only if "member" takes precedence over "administrator" I can see the editor for the administrator role.

It may have something to do with the include/exclude settings in your FCKeditor profile. It may be hard to recreate the same environment to tell exactly what's the problem. Can you setup a similar dev environment where I could see it?

Sorry for the delay.

After a while I was able to get the basic FCKeditor working for my weblinks content as Administrator.
The funny thing is that if I create a link, save it and then edit it again, I am able at this time to see and use the complete editor.

So far, is enough for me. Perhaps another time I can come back and see with you what can it be the problem.
