Using the Web Links module I am unable to get the FCKeditor in the "edit-body" field. It shows me the field blank with the "full Html" and the "filtered html" format but not the FCKeditor.
I checked all over my admin pages but I was unable to find why. The editor works fine in my other content like "pages" "stories" etc.
The "edit-body" option is enabled in the FCKeditor and checked that the permission as admin is ok too.
Perhaps I am missing something silly. I did not see anything like it in the Web Links issues queue.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

nancydruHmm, I know people have tried TinyMCE, so FCKEditor should work too. I'll take a look and see if there's anything strange.
rmiddle commentedI could see a problem in drupal 5 as we use a non-standard call but drupal 6 does use the standard calling method for the body area.
Thanks
Robert
Comment #3
nancydruHave you opened an issue with FCKEditor?
rmiddle commentedJust though of something. We renamed the body to something other then body if FCKeditor is brain dead it might not see the name change.
Thanks
Robert

nancydruNo, leave correct. FCKEditor and other WYSIWYGs have problems that are being addressed in D7. This is a known issue type and can be addressed on the editor side. We are doing things right.

Jorge Campo commentedIn adition to the already in place "edit-body" field for web links content, I included the path "node/add/weblinks" to see if it helped.
It didn't.
nancydruPlease take this up with FCKEditor. I really don't think it is a Web Links problem.
Jorge Campo commentedOk Nancy, I will.
Thanks.
rmiddle commentedNo updates in a week and the issues sounds to be FCKeditor not weblinkes. Closing the issue.
Jorge Campo commentedYes, it seems to be a problem with permissions or similar in the FCKeditor. See my post here:

Thanks again.
