Hallo folks,
Thanks for the great work, I'm a bit new to Drupal 6.3. I can't check the module to activate it, because of one last dependency that I can't find to download:
"Not yet usable" (missing)

I've attached a full screenshot of my modules page for you to see what I have and to see the missing message I'm getting.

I went and installed many things that it needed to get to this point:

I know this is beta, but I'm hoping I'm just being ignorant about something, and that it actually does work right.

Essentially, I want a nice photo gallery system, and a way to upload my own .flv videos and embed a flash player to view the video, like flvmediaplayer. I've read something about modules that allow for audio, video and photos... but I haven't seen how they look. I've only seen the media separated into its own interface, nothing where all mediums are somehow viewable from one gallery. I don't really want that, but it would be cool. If anyone can suggest a proven Drupal 6 module that can do what I want (preferably without needing FTP access to the /files), that would great! Am I on the right track with Image Fupload?

Support for ImageField in CCK is still in development, may take some weeks (2-3) or more because imagefield is quite unstable by now.
I only included this dependency which cannot be fulfilled as long as I've completed development of the CCK ImageField - Image FUpload addon.

But you should know, Image FUpload only supports another way of uploading images up to the server (over a flash uploader form) which is accessible for every user who has sufficient rights. So it won't help you uploading .flv files, it's not developed for.

I read you want to have something like a player for everything, but I think this special module is still in development, but sounds really great:

To build a good image gallery, you should use Views2, ImageField, CCK and soon my module which makes it much more easy and comfortable to upload images, like in mysp@ce. But you have to configure them before using, but I'm quite sure that there are a lot of tutorials in the www. Good luck =D

I am having the same issue.
I am using Drupal 6.6, Imagemagick, Token, Filefield, Image - all upto date.
Simply cannot turn on this module because the Not useable yet (missing) comment which has no reference to what exactly is missing, is displayed.

It doesn't exist a frontend right here, so I decided to disable the module for you =)
Unfortunately, I hadn't the time to continue developing, but soon, it's possible again.

well, if your looking for someone else to help out, I think I can do something. Can you give a link or some hints on whats has been done, and where you would recommend someone take over, what strategy you would recommend... anything else?

album_photos is a multiple-attachment kind of gallery with flash uploader, filefield not imagefield...

No, they aren't. album_photos has a very simple implementation of swfUpload. This module also works with swfUpload but it has a lot of more possibilities than other flash image uploader.
