hi,
at first I thought because there were no releases on the project page, it meant that imagefield was finally operational - but this isn't the case, right? the release notes on imagefield 6.x-3.0-alpha1 page say

Totally a super alpha release that just barely works. It'll probably break your site, crash your server and burn down your house so MAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR FILES DIRECTORY AND YOUR DATABASE!

I would like to continue using Filefield Image, but I get the new message on D6 auto update

Project not supported: This project is no longer supported, and is no longer available for download. Disabling everything included by this project is strongly recommended!
Includes: FileField Image, FileField ImageCache

And of course there's me wondering why no releases are on the project page anymore. The page itself doesn't explain this – can you please clarify?

Cheers!
:) Scott

Hm, I did not disable that. Must have been drewish - please keep it enabled until imagefield is at least in beta or rc status. After all, new people are supposed to read the description and not download it, but existing users should be able to keep it running as it works smoothly. I re-enabled releases being shown again, although there's no status except "recommended" or hidden. So take the current "recommended" status with a grain of salt.

hi jpetso,
Good to know ;)

Will there be any way to migrate filefield_image fields to imagefield (once there's a beta)? I'm thinking of all the images on one of the sites we're setting up - hundreds (not hundreds of thousands), but still - I'm wondering if we need to prepare to have to re-upload them all, or if there are any plans for a 'cleaner' transition?

Thanks!
Scott
