Hi, at the moment most Articles about "Multi-site installation and set-up" are located under Drupal 4.7 and earlier in the "Getting Started" Book.

As Drupal Multisite configurations do not differ that much for the many Drupal Versions, I suggest to make an indipendent Section in "Getting Started" Book.

We could call it "Multisites with Drupal" and move all related Documentation there and I will take care of and check the tagging of each one and see if there are all right tagged ( Drupal 4.x - Drupal 5.x - Drupal 6.x )

There is actually a *lot* of info that is under the 4.7 section that needs to be either updated and added to other version sections or be moved to a generic place. This is a problem of versioning the docs when some docs are applicable to multiple versions and others are not. We should come up with an overall solution to this. I'll add this to the agenda for the Doc Sprint on Aug. 31.

I'd like to hold off on this until we have time to come up with the larger solution to our problem.

Why should we all have to go in different places to read throughout all the issues regarding this implementation when it is an advanced drupal User that will have interest to consult all documentation about that?

You sure agree with me that not all 350.000 members will have to deal with Multisite configuration!
Please provide feedback!

After two weeks of no reactions on that I understand that this might be discussed further on , after all the related documentation will be reviewed.
So I mark this as "postponed" and change status to "normal" meanwhile. Feel free to change when it's time.
