I saw on the demo site that the lefty banner appears in the email sent through forward. How can I achieve this? I would like to add my site banner in the email that is sent. Also, how can change the fonts of the text of the email? I am using 6.x-1.x-dev version. Thanks for any help you can offer....

Copy of the theme functions from forward.theme to your theme's template.php. Replace theme_ in the function names with phptemplate_ and edit to your heart's content.

it's easier than that..
the admin gives a section to add an image header to the forward.template..
http://yourdomain.com/admin/settings/forward
just use a url for the Header Image for Email: in the settings.
