Hi I downloaded and installed the internalization module and uploaded it to my drupal page.
When I activate the modules something strange happens.
Most of my primary menus disappear.

How can I create my site in three languages without having this problem?

Best regards

Mark

See http://drupal.org/node/70194 and http://drupal.org/node/67824 for info on how to localize the primary links.

This is caused by the menu system and there's very little we can do about it.

in the recent event, I have issue at the frontpage.

1. With pathauto installed ... I have to use frontpage the "alias URL" instead of "node/nid". Otherwise no primary menu shows up.

2. Secondly, my view's blocks set to show at "current language" to show at do not show up at the frontpage. However, the view's block would shows up fine if I use frontpage as "node/nid"

So, I had to decide either use node/nid or alias URL. Without choosing either one, I set visibility to show only at "node/nid" instead of for the block and both works together. I could have mix issues, and not really sure how to reproduce either. Anybody experience something similar?

Yes experiencing exactly the same when it comes to your first point.

Under admin/settings/site-information I have to use aliases instead of node/nid otherwhise the menu disappears...

Although this has been discussed (for example here: http://drupal.org/node/70194) it's very heard to find if you don't know what you are looking for...

Cheers

Hello,
Out of the box (with pathauto and global redirect), set up with basic pages, this issue occurs.
Adding the alias in worked like a charm!

thanks
