Description

Hi, after installing a configuring some custom filters to create a custom bbcode for writing, I would like to approach to the final users throug some kind of wysiwg editor or maybe simply a list a buttons to write the codes.

For example, the user clicks over a button and "[url=your url here]and your text for the link here[/url]" appears in the text field.

Do you know some king of module or another solution to make this possible?

Thanks in advance.

For what I know, there aren't WYSIWYG editors that allow to add custom buttons, but maybe I am wrong.

Long time after...

Yes there is, the name of the module is BU editor. With it you can assing text outputs to buttons. You can create simple buttons with plain text and dynamic ones with javascript.

Kind regards.

I didn't mention that module because it's not a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor; it helps on editing a HTML text, but it merely shows the text as you digit it (a real WYSIWYG editor would render the text as Word does, without to show the used tags).

...and you are right... AGAIN :D. For me code editors are better and I forget that's not WYSIWYG
