I agree that this is really, really annoying. Gloscon/BPOCanada and Eshilon Design Inc show up on those threads doing exactly the same thing too.

As does http://drupal.org/user/173102 (smartpixeldesign), also in that thread. His profile says that he provided theme(s) and module(s), but I don't see any evidence of that, the tracker only shows posts in the Paid Services section.

A potential approach to a solution would be to only allow the original poster to add comments to the issue.
