Your configuration is correct. What is your image format (jpg or png)?
Please try to use ie browser.

Image format - jpg. Browser - ie7. May be must be switched from one standard modules, if all works? Or need to add something to that. htaccess? I tested the module on the local machine using denver (http://www.denwer.ru/).

Thank you for your remarkable mega module!

My wishes and found several mistakes:

1. README.txt (6.x-2.0-beta6) - told me from the site (drupal.org) contains only the Chinese language. Put on the homepage module (drupal.org) installation instructions in English.

2. Comments pictures do not work if not included module - Comment. It is desirable when you activate the module photos, and activate the module - Comment. As well as not to allow him to switch off (module - Comment) until the module is off module - photos.

3. Flash gallery does not work if not installed expansion PHP mbstring extension (from PHP).

Short update:

#3 has been fixed it should work now without mbstring (v1.3 and 2.5)

#1 and #2 are still open.

Hi and i'll say great work at first ...

Setting up the Flash Gallery was very simple and quite quick. But how can i integrate it in my drupalsite? I tryed it with the build-in code option but got no clue how it works at least.

I try to install dfgallery in folder :

1. Success
www/public_html/ .... it Oke (but this folder belongs to my Home Website -> Drupal and others and .htaccess too)

So .. my drupal instalation will loss if I force to Install in this directory ..it mean.. I have 2 option .. choose DRUPAL WEBSITE or DFGALLERY.

2. UNSuccess
I try to extract dfgallery module to ..
www/public_html/dfgallery..

But it fail.. I'm still looking for why??
Because I want may dfgallery became Drupal Root

I Try to looking for Solution in INDONESIAN DRUPAL COMMUNITY
so I found that problem when install 'photos' module.
And error notify :

warning: opendir(sites/all/modules/photos/flash_gallery/gallery.swf/app/libraries) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: Permission denied in /home/virtusco/public_html/morningtea.co.cc/includes/file.inc on line 888.

Maybe wrong when to extract file :
Make sure that directori files writable

and you only copy file from dfgallery ---> only gallery.swf not others

 

So the folder is looks like
sites/all/modules/photos/flash_gallery/gallery.swf

Here the steps :

  1. first install module photos
  2. make folder flash_gallery in folder module photosnya
  3. download dfgallery
  4. extract somewhere
  5. copy gallery.swf and then paste in folder flash_gallery that have you made
  6. and setting the configuration
  7. create content album ... and add album name and body and..... save
  8. click photo management
  9. upload photo ...
  10. and tra la ala alalalal...

it would be better if you add excerpt module
so the teaser will be look like whatever you want..

NB. Photos module is Unique, maybe others module still need other *.swf file to make appearance better other than gallery.swf.. there are (NexGen-Flashviewer Module):
- TiltViewer.swf
- viewer.swf
- pcviewer.swf ->pc=postcard
- autoviewer.swf
hemm a lot of module, maybe if I want my picture flying ..its need flyingviewer.swf!!

I'm Still not happy with the appearance (because of template limitation) so .. I put my picture in my flickr instead dfgallery
