Hi,
I've tested Deployment a bit on two Drupal 5.9 instances. I configured everything according to
http://heyrocker.com/drupal/content/deployment-module-installation-and-u...
However, I'm no developer and I'm not sure how to check that XMLRPC connection really works prior to pushing deployment plan items. (I'd appreciate this bit as a part of the installation guide)
Anyway, once I try to push the plan items, I get "Processing error, not well formed" on the first one into the log and that's it.
Can you please give me a hint on a correct course of actions to debug this?
Thanks

gddThe suggestion about XMLRPC is a good one, I'll make a note of that for the future.
What are you trying to deploy? That will help me narrow things down a bit.
Thanks

gddAlso it would be helpful to know what version of the Services module you are using. Thanks.

charmer commentedOkay,
right now it seems it doesn't matter what I try to push since the behavior is always the same, however I tested Pathauto and Extlink modules setting via system_settings module and one testing view via views module. I weighted these items so that each was first to go at least once. I always got the same result.
Version of Services I use is 5.x-0.92, XMLRPC Server and Views Service are of the same version. System Settings Service is listed as 5.x-1.0-beta2 - it was like this in the package from project page - no tweaking by me.
Thanks again.

gddIt appears that the new version of Services has changed their security model a bit, and thus the current version of Deploy is broken. I don't currently have an install of D5 running so I can't verify that 100% at the moment, but that is the implication I am taking from their project page. I will try and get it up tonight to verify that for sure, but if true then Deploy is DOA until such a time as I can figure out their new security model.
I'm going to keep this open as critical

gddI have stopped supporting the 5.x version. If you're still interested in Deploy, a 6.x version has been released.
