Description

So we have been thinking a lot about the Analyze UI and there are quite some roadblocks to tackle, however I see there is a bit of confusions what pages we are making and what contents they should contain.

The UTS Dashboard (and the welcome page) are for /uts. They are not part of the Analyze UI, A important note is context, the Analyze UI's will differ when we introduce new types of usability tests.

  • Study Dashboard
  • Task Dashboard
  • Particpant Analysis

So the idea is, on /uts you click on the study you wish to view. Then you get a page which has a sum up of all the important information of one study (uts/nameofstudy/), so you can determine which task the participants found most difficult. Then you click on that specific task(uts/nameofstudy/nameoftask/, and you get all the information about that task and a sum up of all the important information of that study (way more in-depth then on the study page) and if you want know everything about one participant you click 1 participant and get all the actions he done on 1 task(uts/nameofstudy/particpant1/,

As we add more types of studies and ways of tracking user behaviour we might change the interface a bit, but the general principles should remain the same.

If you have any questions or suggestions on this workflow, please comment. I will link the interfaces in the issue que. Please consider that we'd like to avoid clutter in interfaces.

Study Dashboard
We wanted to display the tasks of a study, some meta data on its state and completion and offer some information as form errors and time spend so the user can quickly look which tasks took the most time and which had the most errors, ofcourse the first task is shown as default as users almost always just start from the first one.
