Instead of cutting thumbnails when creating them use scaling

Usually I've got different ratios of used pictures. Unfortunately when creating thumbnails with defined different ratio than original, IMCE cut two edges of thumbnail instead of using just scaling and keeping whole picture in thumbnail.

Example: Original size is 400x200 pixels. Defined thumbnail is 100x100. I'd expect to scale image to 100x50 pixels. Unfortunately IMCE will do exactly 100x100 pixels and it means left 50 pixels and right 50 pixels are gone.

Is possible to set scaling feature anywhere?
