After following installation instructions for Brilliant Gallery for Drupal 6, the Manage Brilliant Galleries link does not appear in my navigation. Also, when I go to /admin/settings/brilliant_gallery/manage it simply takes me to /admin/settings/brilliant_gallery which only has the Configuration Options, but not the ability to actually manage galleries.
Any ideas? Does anyone have Drupal 6 installation instructions for Brilliant Gallery that differ from Vacilando's BG homepage? Does this have anything to do with the /files directory now being recommended to live in /sites/files? Should this link (and it's page) appear whether or not I have uploaded a gallery? (By the by, I have already uploaded a gallery).
I'm at a loss.

geerlingguy commentedSame problem here... and if I go to "brilliant_gallery" page where the galleries are supposed to show, there's nothing. I was just about ready to post a site for a friend, but without this module working, I'm going to have to hold off!

mfuggle commentedI ahve the same problem. Does the developer intend to respond to the posts which all have the same issue? If so when?

drpchris commentedI'd like this too, but in case someone didn't see:
from:
http://vacilando.net/bg
NEW in 5.x-4.0: An image management page at /admin/settings/brilliant_gallery/manage showing all installed galleries on the website and to make any image visible or invisible by simply by clicking a slick AJAX-powered checkboxes (code adapted from the Ajax Checklist module v5.x-0.1). See an example before, settings and after. This allows you to upload your whole collection and only later decide what will be publicly viewable. Make sure you run /update.php after installation to establish the necessary database table! (Soon to be implemented in 6.x-2.0 as well.)

zappi commentedWhat update.php ?? where ??
zappi commentedit's been month this this bug was reported.. someone must have a solution please
Comment #15
drpchris commentedupdate.php is in the root drupal folder. There should be a link to it on the module admin page.

geerlingguy commentedYep - it's so quiet in this thread... there must be some way to get this functionality working.
vacilando commentedThe image management functionality is indeed only in D5 so far, as mentioned in the documentation -- hence there is no "manage" link. The good news is that the full functionality of D5 will be ported into D6 by the end of this week! Stay tuned :-)
vacilando commentedGood news: 6.x-2.0 now contains all features from the most advanced D5 version, including the much-demanded AJAX image management functionality. Please test it and file any issues you find; thanks!

geerlingguy commentedThank you! I will be testing it this week.
