Description
Thank you for creating the carousel_block! I followed the steps for the imceimage path, please see the attachment that shows my settings. I uploaded the photos. However, the carousel_block doesn't show up on any pages even though I say that it should appear in the content_bottom. I'm new to Drupal so I'm sure that I'm missing something, and I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know what I need to add and where.
Thanks!

The settings seems to be right.
I had a look at your site http://www.mobilize-now.com/ . It seems that even the basic Carousel is not working? Could you try to change back to the basic theme and see if it works? I only tested for Garland and my own theme.

Thank you for the quick reply! I never could get the regular carousel working but the carousellite works well: http://www.mobilize-now.com/node/8
I changed the theme back to garland but the jcarousel_block still doesn't show up. Perhaps you'd be willing to post a document with screenshots of each part of the setup with the values that you chose? That way I can see what I missed. (There's a great free tool called CutePDF writer that automatically creates a pdf file from a Word document).

Let me second the thanks! I am created a photography specific site and this module will be a key part of the design.
I am having the same problem. jcarousel and jcarousel_block modules installed, CCK setup with imagefield, created content type with a field of multiple images, entered that field into the block and added that block to a content area on the theme (garland). The block just isn't there! I have tried with both imagefield and imce.
Any help appreciated!

first, remove the jcarousel_add();
second, you will need to download the jcarousel source code and extract it to the modules folder. it's at http://sorgalla.com/jcarousel/

Did both and still no luck. I don't even see the block title on the page. It's like the block is not even being rendered at all. I wonder if it's a theme thing. Is there a way to forcibly load a block so I can add that code to the theme just to rule out the theme not firing the block for some reason?

It's only show up on the node which content imagefield..

@wallbay1: Your comments on the numerous modules are of no use to anyone, including yourself. You comment on issues that have been closed for many months. You bad-mouth the work that people have done. You provide absolutely no information related to your actual issues such that anyone could attempt to provide assistance.
If you would like to report problems related to this module, drupal core, or whatever, I recommend that you check out the documentation available to Report a problem.
@Everyone Else: Sorry for the interruption.

Just expressing myself
it still a democracy as far as I know. you don't like my comments that your problem. beside you are a bad mouth too in my opinion
I am saying and will still say it again
there is no point to create a good , great module if your documentation is poor, or difficult to find you migh as well not release it. if nobody understand your work its like it never existed. that one
Two they are people here that release bad module (what i mean by bad is these modules where you wonder if they even tested them first, these modules that crashed your website...) bad themes
the other day someone released a theme saying it was ready for public release, I uploaded it next thing i knew my site completely down, strange words everywhere, horrible all my days of work down the toilet, and the guy who released that theme was nowhere to be found.
What I am saying is Drupal should have a feedback and Rating system just like joomla. so that if your module is not appreciated by the community well you will get bad ratings.
maybe that's why drupal doesn't really get the respect it deserve, no accountability, no quality control
this is not a way to punish anybody, but merely a way to provide some kind of quality control. If you don't like it that's your problem.
I understand some people don't speak english, but please ask for help ask someone that speak english to help you put a documentation together!!!!! how hard is it
DRUPAL PUTS a QUALITY CONTROL (RATING SYSTEM)

@wallbay1:
I think you'll find that this is more of a meritocracy, not a democracy. If you would like to contribute towards implementing any of the ideas you espouse, feel free. Module developers are always looking for someone to help with the documentation tasks. If you can't code, that would be an excellent way to contribute back to the community and perhaps get someone to help you out in turn.
If you need a solution that has a different support solution, and you would like to use Drupal, I suggest you check out Acquia and their paid support solutions.

Hey ScoutBaker
I refer to democracy by the right to every men to express his opinions, I believe in that you have the right to express your opinion as I do also.
Now I admit some of my comment where made out of frustration I never intended to hurt anybody feeling, and if I did I accept my fault and I present here my apologies.
Where do I find developer that need help for documentation? I speak french and English
