This may well be a problem resulting from an act of stupidity on my part.

I was experiencing a problem with Activemenu and Tabs in one of my Organic Groups - the menu system as defined did not map properly onto the Activemenus unless they were defined as expanded in Administration/Menu. Previously it had worked.

I installed an update of jstools and jquery update and now I have lost all Collapsiblock capability. All modules are reported as being installed correctly and in Admin settings all seems OK.

Any ideas would be most most welcome.

Many thanks

I am updating this thread with anything I find on this issue. Seems to be a network of incompatibilities between versions of jstools, jsquery-update, tabs and panels.

That other issue report (http://drupal.org/node/304638) is set to "wont-fix", claiming this is the responsibility of making clean JS code in the other modules using JQuery.

So continue the discussion here in this thread instead.

I've got the same problems. Was all fine 'til the jQuery update... now blocks don't show the collapsible indicator, and the block title is not a hotspot to collapse the block.

Subscribing here, since the other thread was closed as 'wont fix'.

Title: Collapsiblock » Make collapsiblock compatible with jquery update
Category: support » feature

I would welcome a patch for jquery incompatibility.

I don't consider this a bug. Hack Drupal core (as is done in jquery update), expect to break things.

@nedjo - yes... I agree with you (about hacking core), but I suspect that the jquery_update hack is in such widespread use that we need to try and find a workaround.

The site that I am working on is going to have to stay at D5 for the forseeable future. We're about to launch Ubercart on the site, and I have found I will need to install the 5.x-2.0 version... and suddenly I have lost my wonderful collapsing sidebars...

I am willing to help out with testing as much as possible, but I don't know enough about jquery to be able to come up with a patch for collapsiblock... any thoughts/suggestions?

EDIT: looking at activity on a related thread, it looks like the 5.x dev snapshot seems to work just fine (for collapsiblock), which is great news.

Thanks nedjo -
I installed the new module this morning, and looks like it all works correctly.
Thanks for doing the update!
