I have a set of books available in 2 languages.
When switching the current language, the correct books show up in the books menu block.

However, when edit a menu (something only administrator does), all books in both languages appear in the book menu block.
The situation resumes to normal as soon as I select anything else

Yes, that happens because we are disabling language conditions for admin pages, so the administrator can see all menu items in a single page. The unintended side effect is that it happens for blocks too.

Difficult to fix, minor issue, so postponed for now.

I thought about something like that. The important is that it is not really a bug, just an unintended effect.

This is fixed in D7, but won't be fixed in D6.
