I have tried this on all browsers, it seems that when a page is reloaded or refreshed the select field gets grayed out and disabled.

Something's wrong with the JS on your page then, or with the order in which the JS is loaded in your page (i.e. in HEAD tag or at the end of the BODY tag).

Hm … by this point I noticed you've selected version 1.x. You're of course kidding, right? Version 2 has been out for ages. Version 3 is about to be finalized and is more stable in 99.9% of the cases. Please upgrade.
