I'm trying to change my site's default language, but would like to administer it in English (it is easier to find documentation in English).
I've read about the "Interface language is independent" option, which (in my understanding) should do what I need. But I can't find it in v6. Do I miss any configuration steps, or is it removed?

jose reyero commentedThis option is gone for now as links are provided now by Drupal core.
However it would be nice to have it back, patches welcomed.
jose reyero commentedI think this module should provide that feature so we will rely on that one, http://drupal.org/project/preserve_language

Marko B commentedIs this option still gone? Preserve lang. is only dev and has its problems, its not working perfectly. Are there other solutions for preserving or setting default language for interface?
Marko B commentedGuess this solves it :-)
