I may work on adding this code. But I'd like to see gallerix default to 3 sizes (thumb, frame, & original). This would work great for lightbox. On single view, when you click on the frame sized image it would open lightbox to the original image.
If i get to the this i'll post the code.

This sounds like a perfect idea for a widget. Widgets require the Gallerix Widget Engine, which is a commercial product. I would encourage you to try developing the widget. If you don't own a copy of the GWE, and still wish to develop the widget, purchase a copy and I will refund the money once you release your widget. All of this assuming that you'd release your widget under the GPL.
