I just noticed that the new (and very convenient-looking) admin_hover module includes non-GPL famfamfam icons. I wasn't sure what to do with that piece of information so I'm posting it here.

deekayen commentedI emailed conortm to ask them to remove the non-GPL items from the repository and comment here when that was complete.

Very sorry about this! I will fix it this evening (EST) and update this thread when I have done so. Thanks much!!!

Did I not raise this very issue with you during the CVS account application review process, what happened?
conortm commentedAjk,
yes, you did bring this up in your review. However, my response of "I intend to attribute the set to its creator on the module's project page and in the README.TXT of the module itself. Is this sufficient?" was not answered, so I thought including the icons was OK. Obvously, I thought wrong. I apologize, I am new to working with licenses and should have read up on the strict handling of non-GPL items. Now I know, and I will remedy the error with a new release by day's end (EST).
I asked deekayen earlier if there is anything I should do in the meantime, so I open that question up to all.
Thanks and, again, my apologies for this misunderstanding.

AjK commentedconor,
It seems my reply went wayward, never mind. I would suggest you contact the original author and see if they are willing to dual license the items in a similar manner that jQuery was dual licensed. Most people are often open to this if it gets their work further afield. But if nothing can be arranged with the next week or so we'll (you'll actually) need to remove them.

conortm commentedAndy,
Thanks for this, and again, sorry for the hassle! It seems there has been much discussion regarding this (i.e. Drupal GPL icons), and I clearly have not done my homework. I have decided to use Lullabot's Lullacons instead, which are under GPL and thus compliant. I will update the repos, edit my project page, and drop a new release shortly.
Thanks, again, and let me know if you have any other thoughts.
Take care!

I have released a new version of Admin:hover, which includes the new icon set. Again, sorry for the hassle with this, and I appreciate your understanding and help.
