Hi there,

This is a request to pool up to fund a much needed module enhancement for the simplenews newsletter module.

It's about adding statistics to sent newsletters, to see the read newsletters, ad track the links followed from the newsletter itself.

This would make the already good simplenews module much better, and suitable for more projects where email campaigns have to be measured.

The maintainer, sutharsan is willing to build this feature. the costs will be € 2400,-.
I am looking for other supporters / simplenews users to fund this feature. Qrios is willing to donate € 800,-. for this.

I've been search and can't find anything on tracking statistics with Drupal 5x. Is there such tracking available for version 5 of Drupal?
