Sorry if I'm dense, but I couldn't find a users POV over what this module does.

What does it do differently or better than just using the built-in taxonomy/term URL syntax to generate a display?

And if I were using Views, is there any point to using this as well?

Hah. Yeah I'd wonder too - but scanning the issues reveals

... where 1, 2 and 3 are vocabulary IDs.

List nodes that have any term in a given vocabulary?
It's a bit rare, but it's true that core does not do provide this.
