Hi all!

Please is there an instant message module for drupal 5.x?

If not what is thet avalaible module that i can use when i wan to put a space for tchating in my drupal site?

Or can i use the release version for drupal 4.x?

For Drupal 5 there is

and also several chat modules

http://drupal.org/project/shoutbox (a simple public chat box)
http://drupal.org/project/chatroom (configurable chat rooms)

and one for IRC

I tried the chat room and it work well, thanks alot for your help!
But i don't know if it's possible to create a chat room inside a group? if it's possible, how to do it?

I don't know, probably you set up the chatroom node type as a standard group post in admin/content/types, then you set up which roles can access chat rooms and create chatroom nodes and chats etc in admin/user/access, and then create chatrooms and set a group as their audience in node/add/chatroom. It must be something like this.

I had created a chatrooms and set a group as its audience in node/add/chatroom, then it apear in the list of my active chat room and all the authenticated members can post and participate in the forum topic that i created inside this chat room.

So what i need is, to make that chat room shown only for the members of the groupe, and only the members of the groupe that i selected in the audience can see and post inside that chat room and the active chat inside!

You must make it a "Private group".

Somewhere in the menu you can see the name of your group. Go there, enter and select "Edit".
Scroll down, at the end of the "Membership requests" section. There is a "Private group" option.

If it is grey and you can't select it, the text under it explains why and what you need to do (unselect two other options)
