Chat Room

This module enables chat rooms to be set up on Drupal sites. No additional software is required. Chat Room uses AJAX to update chats without page reloads. Chat rooms are nodes that provide access to chats and chat archives. This module does not support pop-up windows or invitations.

For a feature rich, open-source web conferencing solution, DimDim is by far the best way to go. Drupal is not far away from web conferences, complete with audio and video, chat, screen and web page sharing. However, the use cases for this module are, at the moment, limited.

Known issues

There are several bugs listed in both the 5.x and 6.x issue queues.
