Hi all

I have an application i'm trying to update/modify ( I didn't create it). There are some cck field permissions set in admin/settings/cck field permissions. In settings/user/access, access is given to see those fields for a specific role. (and this works).

Now, I have created a new role( role#2), but this new role is denied access to see the fields given cck field permissions. If role#2 is given every permission possible in the settings/user/access, it can still not see the cck fields.

So, what am i missing. Does something some where else need to be set?

I figured out my problem, i had to do with my new user role. the weight was set wrong, so the authenticated user permissions were taking precedence over my new role.
