only these files
- license.txt
- po folder
- readme.txt

did you forget to add the rest ?

The updated module shows 6.x-1.1-beta1 but the update page says a new version is available 6.x-1.0-beta1, it's recommending an older version ?

@darumaki: I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Which version do you have installed now, and by 'update page', do you mean your drupal installation's 'admin/reports/updates'?

yes, the latest fixed module shows 6.x-1.1-beta1 and the admin/reports/update recommends to update to verson 6.x-1.0-beta1

@darumaki: I apologize for the difficulties. The 6.x-1.1-beta1 was a mistake and that release is no longer published. 6.x-1.0-beta2 is the latest release. Let me know how if that release resolves this issue.
